Wildlife Removal And Control

  • Are Your Methods Humane?

I adhere strictly to the standards and regulations set forth by the Florida Wildlife Commission. Irrespective of the specific method of remediation employed, I ensure that each animal is treated with the utmost respect and dignity. This approach is integral to my professional conduct and is applied consistently across all interactions with wildlife.

  • What Animals Do You Capture?

My area of expertise encompasses the capture and management of a broad range of animals classified as "nuisance wildlife". This category typically includes various species that are often found in residential areas and are known to cause damage or disrupt structures. The range of animals I deal with includes, but is not limited to, armadillos, nuisance ducks and geese, opossums, various rodents, snakes, coyotes, large lizards, and squirrels. Additionally, I handle nuisance birds, such as pigeons, and certain invasive species like cane toads and Cuban tree frogs. Each of these animals, when identified as a nuisance, is managed with professional care and in accordance with established wildlife management practices.

  • Do You Sell Iguanas?

I do not engage in the sale of iguanas. My services are focused on the management and control of nuisance wildlife, which includes the humane capture of animals such as iguanas when they are identified as a nuisance. However, the sale or distribution of these animals is not a part of my professional activities.

  • What Do You Charge?

The cost of our services is highly competitive, and I am committed to offering rates that are unbeatable in the market. I understand the importance of working within your budget, and as a small company, we have the flexibility to offer extremely competitive pricing. To provide you with an accurate estimate, I would like to discuss your specific needs and budgetary considerations. This approach allows us to tailor our services to meet your requirements while ensuring affordability.

  • How Do You Catch Animals?

To capture the animal, I employ a variety of methods, all of which are in strict compliance with legal standards. My primary focus is on using techniques that are not only effective but also minimize any discomfort to the animal. This approach is integral to my commitment to humane wildlife management. Each situation is assessed individually to determine the most appropriate and humane method of capture, ensuring the safety and well-being of the animal while also effectively addressing your specific wildlife concern.

  • Do You Use Poison?

Using poison to address nuisance animals is not a method I endorse or practice. This approach is detrimental to the environment and poses significant risks to all animals, not just the target species. In light of these concerns, I have consciously chosen not to pursue licensing for the use of poisons in wildlife management. Additionally, I strongly advise against the use of mothballs in your yard, both before and after my services. Mothballs are harmful to the environment and are ineffective in deterring animals from entering your property. My focus is on employing humane and environmentally responsible methods to manage wildlife issues, ensuring the safety and balance of our natural surroundings.

  • How Long Will It Take?

The duration of the process to capture the animal can vary, as it largely depends on factors beyond my control, primarily the behavior and movements of the animal itself. To manage expectations realistically, I focus on making a predetermined number of attempts to capture the animal. It's important to note that any interference, such as attempts to capture the animal yourself or tampering with its burrow, can potentially complicate and prolong the process. For the most efficient and effective service, I recommend allowing me to handle the situation without any prior interventions. This approach ensures that the animal is managed humanely and professionally, with the least amount of stress for both the animal and you.

  • Can You Find My Dog?

I understand how distressing it can be to lose a pet, and I sympathize with your situation. However, my services are specifically focused on managing nuisance wildlife and do not include searching for lost domestic pets like dogs. There are other resources and services that might be more suitable for assisting you in this situation, such as local animal shelters, community social media groups, and pet finding services. These organizations and platforms are often well-equipped to help in the search for lost pets, providing a network of support and resources that can increase the chances of a successful reunion with your dog.

  • Can I Do This Myself?

While it is true that there are no laws explicitly preventing you from attempting to handle wildlife issues on your own, it is crucial to remember that even invasive animals are protected under animal cruelty laws. Improper handling or treatment of these animals can lead to legal consequences, including charges of animal cruelty. Additionally, handling wildlife poses risks to your personal safety, such as the potential for rabies transmission. Vaccinations for rabies can be costly and it's important to consider this when weighing your options.

I recommend comparing the costs and risks associated with self-handling these situations to the services I offer. My pricing is designed to be affordable and competitive, often proving to be more economical than the medical and potential legal costs associated with DIY approaches. Moreover, by employing my services, you benefit from the convenience and assurance of having a professional handle the situation safely and in compliance with all relevant laws and ethical standards. This not only protects the wildlife but also ensures your safety and peace of mind.

  • Why Do You Want To Hurt Animals?

Your question raises an important point about the balance between animal welfare and landowner rights. Firstly, it is essential to clarify that my intention is never to harm animals. In fact, my motivation for entering this line of work stems from a deep concern about the treatment of animals in wildlife management, particularly how other trappers handle these situations and whether they adhere to the guidelines set by the Florida Wildlife Commission (FWC). My practices are grounded in humane treatment and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Secondly, while animals certainly have a right to exist and thrive in their natural habitats, there are situations where their presence can conflict with the rights and safety of landowners. This includes scenarios where animals pose a direct threat to property, health, or safety. In such cases, it becomes necessary to manage wildlife in a way that protects both the animals and the rights of landowners. This balance is crucial and is at the heart of ethical wildlife management. By employing humane and regulated methods, I strive to respect the rights of both wildlife and property owners, ensuring a safe and harmonious coexistence.
